TRAVELING TO CHICAGO

AIRLINE TRAVEL – Chicago is served by two major airports: O’Hare International Airport (ORD), located 18 miles (approximately 45 minutes travel time) northwest of the conference hotel, and Midway International Airport (MDW), located 9 miles (approximately 30 minutes travel time) southwest of the conference hotel. Both airports are served by direct flights from most major cities in the United States, Mexico and Canada.

There are various transportation options from either airport to the conference hotel. The most affordable and often quickest option is via CTA Rapid Transit. From O’Hare, take the Blue Line to Clark/Lake, then transfer to the Green Line towards Ashland/63rd or Cottage Grove. Get off at the Cermak-McCormick Place stop, where you can then walk four blocks east to the conference hotel. If arriving at Midway, take the Orange Line to Roosevelt, then catch the Green Line towards Ashland/63rd or Cottage Grove. Take the Green Line one stop to Cermak-McCormick Place.

RAIL TRAVEL – Amtrak’s Chicago Union Station (CUS) is the terminal for most cross-country trains and many regional routes. To get to the conference hotel from Union Station, walk two blocks south along Clinton Street to the Clinton Blue Line station. Take the Blue Line towards O’Hare to Clark/Lake, where you can transfer to the Green Line towards Ashland/63rd or Cottage Grove. Take the Green Line to the Cermak-McCormick Place stop and walk four blocks east to the conference hotel.
