The SIA encourages national SIA members to join one or more of our local chapters for a focus on local industrial heritage. Local chapters offer IA programs, tours, networking events, or publications. Please contact a local chapter from the list below if you are interested in joining in their activities. Each chapter is run independently of the national SIA and may require additional dues to help defray the costs of their operations.
If there is no local chapter in your area, you can start one. The rules for forming and operating a chapter are outlined in our Bylaws and in our Chapter Formation Guidelines. To investigate the possibility of forming a new chapter, please contact the Local Chapters Committee.
